A 40-year-old resident of Dnipro, who had been wandering the snowy highlands for almost two days in search of the border, was recently found at 4 o'clock in the morning by border guards of the "Dilove" border guard division of the Mukachevo bord

The border guards learned from their Romanian colleagues that there is a person asking for help on Mountain Pip Ivan Marmarosky. They were the ones who received the message with geodata of the man's location, which indicated that he was in the territory of Ukraine.

The border guards of the "Dilove" border guard division together with the specialists of the mountain search and rescue department immediately organized search activities.

The search operation was complicated by high snow cover, poor visibility and fallen trees, which prevented the full use of automobile equipment.

A person without proper equipment, wearing jeans and sneakers was found 3 kilometers from the border. He refused to explain the purpose of his stay in the mountains, although he later admitted his intentions to enter Romania illegally.

Because of the hope that the Romanian rescuers would look for him, who would later take him directly to Romania, the man only called them. The man was not happy about the meeting with the Ukrainian law enforcement officers, expressing only indignation that he had to wait a long time for their help.

He was taken to the hospital. Currently, his condition is satisfactory.
